Kyiv passed Baku transport corridor project
Azerbaijan passed Ukraine a draft agreement on the establishment of the international transport corridor "Baltic Sea - Black Sea - Caspian Sea", reported on Friday the press service of the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine.
According to the vice-premier of the country Gennady Zubko, the transport corridor synchronizes several freight routes and will foster the development of an integrated transport strategy for the region. Besides the fact that between Kiev and Baku continues cooperation on the project "Silk Road", as the results of the test container train on the route Ukraine - Georgia - Azerbaijan - Kazakhstan - China proved technical and technological possibilities of such shipments. On June 23 it became known that China is planning to invest $15 billion in "Economic Belt of the Silk Road, " - a project that will link the Far East, Central Asia and Europe. -02D-
