Launches a new concept online
BAKU/12.12.13/TURAN : Device manufacturers , network equipment and electronic components announced an alliance AllSeen Alliance. The purpose of the community in developing a common industry standard by which communication between devices in the concept of the "Internet of things." Alliance members call it " Internet only" .
They will work together to develop software and to direct those resources to create an open framework that will allow device manufacturers , service providers and developers to create compatible devices and services .
In alliance includes Panasonic, Haier, LG Electronics, Sharp, TP-Link, HTC, Harman, Qualcomm, Cisco, D-Link, Silicon Image, Canary, Fon, LeTV, LIFX, LiteOn, Moxtreme, Sears Holdings, Sproutling, The Sprosty Network, Weaved, doubleTwist and Wilocity - just 24 companies . In its decisions, they will use the operating system kernel Linux, and for the development of the software will respond to non-profit organization Linux Foundation.
Basis for communication devices in the concept of " online only" manufacturers of equipment and components will take an open platform All Join, developed the world's largest producer of chips for smartphones and tablets Qualcomm, which also entered into an alliance .
The platform is based on the network topology structure of the node , wherein each node serves not only for its own transmission and reception of data , but the intermediate point for data transmission between neighboring nodes. 17D
