Mechanisms needed to raise funds for property insurance and passengers
The Bureau of Compulsory Insurance in November concluded 13,058 contracts in the framework of property insurance. On liability for property owners, there are only 269 agreements with individuals. The amount of contributions on both positions was slightly more than 1 million manats. For comparison - on the same for CTP insurers collected 65.4 million manat.
In the State Insurance Supervision Service of the Finance Ministry the causes of the significant difference were explained by the absence of a real mechanism to raise funds - if the content of contracts of CTP depends on the activity of the state car inspection, for contracts for real estate there are no responsible entities.
Approximately the same picture is with insurance of passengers. In January-November with carriers thr were signed 8 agreements worth slightly more than 1 million manats.
Since the beginning of the year until December 1, all three mentioned types of insurance contracts concluded 103,779, most of which (98,765) occurred in real estate. Within the framework of mandatory liability of owners there were signed 4,741 agreements and on compulsory insurance of passengers there were signed 273.
For all mentioned types there was bailed 12.3 million manat. -17D-
