Most of All Household Deposits in Foreign Currency
As of January 1, 2017 banks attracted deposits from the population totaling 7 billion 449 million 480.4 thousand manat.
With reference to the statistics of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the population's deposits mainly account for the residents of Baku - 93.3%, or 6 billion 950 million 90.1 thousand manat, of which 5 billion 687 million 526.4 thousand manat is in foreign currency.
