New chief of ExxonMobil office in Azerbaijan appointed
Jean Age Hansen has been appointed a new General Manager of Azerbaijani office of Exxon Mobil company, reported the Azerbaijan Ministry of Energy.
“Yesterday Minister Natig Aliyev met with Alistar MacLeod, head of ExxonMobil representation in Azerbaijan, on occasion of completion of term of his service. Jean Age Hansen, new General Manager of the Baku office of the company, has been introduced to the Minister as well,” said the same source.
During the meeting the sides have expressed confidence in development of mutually beneficial cooperation during the period of operation of the company’s new management in Azerbaijan.
Aliyev said that ExxonMobil is a reliable partner of Azerbaijan and added that the company has achieved important results in implementation of not only energy, but also other various social programs in the country. Minister added that it is important to continue using the company’s experience and possibilities.
The sides have discussed the possibilities of expansion of cooperation and perspectives in this direction.
* ExxonMobil company has its representation in Baku since 1995. Currently the company is involved in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) production project.-0—
