One of options of supply of SOCAR oil refinery in Kyrgyzstan with raw materials
SOCAR could build oil refinery in Kyrgyzstan only as soon as it solves the issue of Kazakhstan oil deliveries to the country. Kyrgyzstan officials already take real steps and they offered its neighbor Kazakhstan the shortest route of oil deliveries to China via its territory.
On September 2, 2012 after the meetings with the Chinese officials in Urumchi Temir Sariyev, acting Minister of Economy and Anti-Monopoly Policy of Kyrgyzstan, said that “China is interested in construction of Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-China oil pipeline and gas pipeline from Turkmenistan via south of Kyrgyzstan.” He said China is ready to support all infrastructural projects.
At the session of the coordination group Kyrgyzstan-China Sariyev said possible route of gas pipeline from Turkmenistan to China via south of Kyrgyzstan will be considered. He said the terms will depend on the Chinese company, which is going to build jointly with Turkmenistan.—0—
