Outdated term "compulsory state insurance for the employees of courts and law enforcement agencies"
One of the small-scale compulsory types of financial services - insurance for employees of state courts and law enforcement agencies - has increased over the year 2.55 times. In the past year (as of October 1) there were fixed contracts worth 3 million 386.72 thousand, while this year - 8 million 653.98 thousand manats.
State-owned commercial insurance company Azersigorta, which is fixed for this type of insurance as well as some other items (military insurance, MPs, diplomatic services) with a total compulsory portfolio of AZN 20 mln 32.95 thsd, actually gains profit from this segment. Paying customers for all events for the three quarters totaled 589.66 thsd (6.8%) against last year's 514.87 thsd manat (15.2%).
As noted , commenting on the figures , chief of department of State Insurance Supervision Service of the Ministry of Finance Mahir Abdullayev , increase premiums the insurer made ??public by the amendments to the law " On compulsory state insurance for employees of courts and law enforcement agencies ", approved by parliament on March 5 this year. As for the meager benefits - a situation justified the lack of specialist insurance cases.
According to the new wording of the Act, the amendments involve the provision of compulsory insurance emergency workers, as well as the scope of the protection of public order and national security, customs and immigration services. So far in the framework of this kind have been insured , judges, prosecutors , investigators , persons engaged in criminal investigations , as well as employees who perform the decisions taken by the courts, police or the prosecutor's office. - 17D-
