People Received 92% of Realty Put in Operation
In 2016, people built 11,200 apartments with a total area of 1 million 544.6 thousand square meters at their own expense, which is 92% of the property put in operation for the year, the State Statistical Committee told Turan.
In the past year 1 million 677.1 thousand sq. m of housing was put into operation in Azerbaijan, of which 78.6 thousand sq. m. accounted for flats built for internally displaced persons.
In 2016 housing construction was invested 683.5 million manats, including 47.5 million manat by the state. ---08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
