Premiums of the insurance company "Ateshgah" passed AZN 35 million
The insurance company "Ateshgah" intends this year to collect a total of 35-40 million manat. From January to November, the company accumulated 34,240,820 manat, so the forecast is real, the director of the company Igor Smaga said.
According to him, in 2013, by the mandatory insurance is expected to increase premiums by another 15-20%. In the framework of the law "On compulsory insurance" in Azerbaijan has been created Office for Compulsory Insurance, one of the founders of which "Ateshgah" is. It is through this next year, the company forecast collect premiums determined to be about 50 million manat. By the way, together with the company "Ateshgah Hayat Sigorta", included in a single insurance group, it has raised this amount.
According to the director, one of the strong points of this financial structure is regular monitoring of medium-and long-term prospects of the insurance market. These measures help to react to all possible projected changes in the market.
Today, about three-quarters of revenue is for the first 12 companies.
The Director expressed his attitude to life insurance, as a subsidiary of "Ateshgah" focuses on those forms. According to him, today, insurance against accidents at work - the main engine of life insurance in Azerbaijan. However, in law outlines equivalent resources like mandatory health insurance, and then the financial resources from the budget "go" in the right direction.
Incidentally, the company has no plans to agricultural insurance, because it is one of the risk areas for insurers. This explains the small proportion of bonuses in the industry.
According to Smaga, the company expects its staffing capacity in perspective, which works closely with the State Economic University. This is part of the Fair of Graduates during which a student after successful interviews are employed in the insurance company "Ateshgah", with the possibility of probation, to gain valuable experience in the company. Along with this, the company has held educational work among the students of this university.
Similar work will be continued in future years. The company is currently developing a strategy to attract graduates from other universities to work with the company.
The insurance group "Ateshgah" that provides clients with services for 32 types of insurance includes the insurance company "Ateshgah", as well as the insurance company "Ateshgah Hayat Sigorta" together with the medical clinic "Intermed".
The group of companies was established in late 1996, and has been operating since January 1997. The total authorized capital of the insurance companies is 7.8 million manat.
