Shareholders of Capital Bank to Reconsider Composition of the Supervisory Board
An extraordinary shareholders' meeting of OJSC Capital Bank will take place on December 20. The agenda includes changes in the composition of the Supervisory Board.
The composition of the Supervisory Board was last formed in May 2015, consisting of five persons. Jalal Gasimov was elected the Chairman and is also the head of the banking group in the company Pasha Holding. In January of this year, the shareholders accepted the resignation of one of the members of the Supervisory Board, Javid Guliyev.
Note that the other day the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Capital Bank Jalal Gasimov was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Board of LLC Pasha Holding. It is likely that the new review of the composition of the Supervisory Board is due to this fact.
The bank’s press service did not comment on the reason for convening the shareholders' meeting.
Currently, the Supervisory Board of Capital Bank also includes Rauf Hajiyev, Afaq Mustafayeva and Ogtay Hasanov.
OJSC Capital Bank is in the group of companies Pasha Holding. The holding owns 99.87% of its shares. The share capital of the bank is 185.5 million manat. -08B--
