SOCAR paid over 1.3 billion AZN to state budget
During 10 months, 2013 SOCAR has paid 1,324,068,000 AZN to the state budget, up 14.2% against the same period in 2012.
SOCAR press office reported that in October 2013 the company transferred 138,976,000 AZN to the state budget.
During 10 months, 2013 SOCAR’s payments to the State Social Security Fund for the mandatory social insurance totaled 133,490,000 AZN, up 1.5% against the same period last year.
In October 2013 the company’s payments to the Fund totaled 13,378,000 AZN.
During 2013 SOCAR plans to transfer 1,490,400,000 AZN of taxes to the state budget.
In 2012 SOCAR transferred 1,335,235,000 AZN of taxes to the state budget of Azerbaijan.—0—

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
