Tax Revenues Decreased by 3.6%
In the first quarter of 2016 revenues to the state budget via the Ministry of Taxes totaled 1 billion 542.4 million manats. According to the agency, the forecast was executed by 101.4%
Compared to the same period of 2015, tax revenues were down by 3.6% (58.3 million manats), and compared with the same period of 2014 – by 12.5% (220.5 million manats).
In 2015 the Ministry of Taxes provided the transfer to the state budget of 7.1 billion manats. This year, the forecast is reduced by 410 million manats. ----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
