BAKU/07.05.10/TURAN: Azerbaijani potatoes became 25% more expensive in April. The price rose from AZN 0.7 to AZN 0.9 in Baku and from AZN 0.6 to AZN 0.8 in other towns. The index grew to AZN 1 in Guba. This regards the potatoes picked in the harvest of 2009, while those picked lately in 2010 are sold at AZN 1.5 to AZN 2, depending on the size.
