The prices of new flats rose by 5.6% on the average in Baku and its suburbs in Aug. 2006. They had been stable between May and Aug. 2006. The prices of second-hand flats rose by 3.7% on the average in Aug. 2006. The prices of new housing rose by 19% in Ganja and by 7.8% in Sumgayit on the average.
