Armenia imports weapons under the guise of humanitarian cargo - I. Aliyev
Baku / 16.10.20 / Turan: Iran, Georgia, as well as Russia do not officially supply weapons to Armenia, President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with the Turkish TV channel A Haber.
“We have no information that weapons are being supplied to Armenia from Iran.
Iran and Georgia have closed their airspace and land borders for military transport to Armenia. According to our information, weapons are delivered to Armenia by smuggling, under the guise of humanitarian cargoes by civil and cargo planes,” Aliyev said.
Video footage of trains with Russian armored vehicles traveling through northern Iran is widely disseminated on social networks. According to unofficial sources, this technique may be intended for Armenia.
In addition, Turkey has closed its airspace for aircraft delivering humanitarian aid to Armenia from the United States. The reason for this is information that, in fact, weapons are being delivered to Armenia on civil flights. -02D-
