Fazil Mustafa, "Today"s lawyers, too are involved in judicial bargaining"

The  meeting of the Milli Majlis adopted amendments to the law of Azerbaijan Republic "On Courts and Judges".

Deputy Fazil Mustafa opposed some provisions of the document; he considers unfinished  the  Article 97-1, implying a two-year mission to train judges from lower courts.

According to the deputy head of state should appointed  judges who are prepared and proven professionals.

"Today, there is deficit of   judges  any instance, the appellate court stamps the decisions, the  judge and the prosecutor are  in a bundle, and the sentence is not very different from the demand  of the public prosecutor. Lawyers have also become members of trade and one of the links in the chain. Voluntary assignment of judges from higher courts  is  a mere formality. To improve the situation it is necessary to make radical reforms in the legal field," believes the deputy. --17D—
