Baku/19.07.21/Turan: By the order of President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, four vice-presidents of SOCAR have been dismissed from their posts.
These included vice-president for processing Davud Mammadov, vice-president for dtrategic development Tofig Gahramanov, vice-president for geology and geophysics Bahram Huseynov and vice-president Mikail Ismailov (latter's curation was not specified) lost their posts.
Now the number of SOCAR vice-presidents has been reduced to 8.
It should be added that no reasons of the above dismissals are specified; there is just a reference to the Article of the Constitution following which the head of state can appoint and dismiss heads of ministries, departments and state-owned companies. –06D-

Today, the Ganja Court of Appeal has completed consideration of the complaint of Osman Narimanoglu (Rzayev), the head of the demokratik.az site on the sentence of imprisonment for 6.5 years.
