Four SOCAR vice-presidents have been dismissed from their posts
Baku/19.07.21/Turan: By the order of President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, four vice-presidents of SOCAR have been dismissed from their posts.
These included vice-president for processing Davud Mammadov, vice-president for dtrategic development Tofig Gahramanov, vice-president for geology and geophysics Bahram Huseynov and vice-president Mikail Ismailov (latter's curation was not specified) lost their posts.
Now the number of SOCAR vice-presidents has been reduced to 8.
It should be added that no reasons of the above dismissals are specified; there is just a reference to the Article of the Constitution following which the head of state can appoint and dismiss heads of ministries, departments and state-owned companies. –06D-

On July 26, the trial of public activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev continued in the Baku Serious Crimes Court. Three witnesses were heard. One of them said that she had once asked Hajiyev for help in obtaining a visa for a tour to the Czech Republic and had no other business with him.
