German Doctor Confirmed Severity of Condition of Leyla Yunus
The German doctor Christian Witt confirmed serious illness of the arrested human rights activist Leyla Yunus. He said this to Yunus at his second visit to her on 26 January. The first examination and blood tests were taken by Witt from Yunus almost a month ago – on 30 December.
According to Witt, the blood test showed that the decomposition of the liver really began at Yunus. She continues to lose weight and for 6 months she lost 16 kg in weight - from 62 kg to 46 kg.
According to the doctor, all this clearly confirms the irreversible processes in her body. Leyla Yunus gave Turan all this through her lawyer Elchin Gambarov. -02D-
