How many Azerbaijanis fight in Syria?
Foreign media quoting the Grand Mufti of Syria, Sheikh Ahmad Badraddin Hasuna, spread information about foreigners fighting in the country against the Assad regime. This list does not include fighters from Iran and Lebanon, fighting on the side of Bashar al-Assad.
