Iranian Embassy Lowers Flag in Baku
Baku / 06.01.20 / Turan: The state flag is lowered over the Iranian embassy in Baku. In front of the entrance to the building is a portrait of Qasem Soleimani, to which flowers are laid.
On Monday morning, individuals carry flowers to the embassy. A few dozen meters away gathered a group of believers discussing the Iranian general’s death.
In the immediate vicinity of the diplomatic mission are several police vehicles. After the announcement of mourning over the death of Soleimani, pro-Iranian activists did not carry out any actions in Baku. However, it is possible that on the day of the general’s funeral - January 7, they will show themselves.
In the meantime, the discussion about the murder of Soleimani, about his role in regional wars and about his attitude towards Azerbaijan is going on in social networks. -02B-
