Leonid Kalashnikov: Armenia will block Azerbaijan's entry into CSTO
Baku/21.09.18/Turan: Azerbaijan cannot become CSTO members now. For this, it is necessary to change the documents of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, THE Head of the Duma Committee for CIS Affairs Leonid Kalashnikov said at a press conference in Baku on Friday. Noting that he personally "welcomes" Azerbaijan's entry into the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Kalashnikov added that the decision to join is taken by consensus. "However, Armenia will block such a decision," he said. He stressed that Russia is interested in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, in contrast to the United States. "I believe that only Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia - Aliyev, Putin and Pashinyan can settle the Karabakh conflict," he added. -02D-
