March dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the liberation of Baku from Bolsheviks
Baku/15.09.21/Turan: A group of Azerbaijani armed forces servicemen marched through the central streets of Baku today timed to the 103rd anniversary of the liberation of the country's capital by the Caucasian Islamic Army. Note that 150 servicemen were accompanied by a military band.
It should be reminded that on September 15, 1918, the Caucasian Islamic Army (consisted of Turkey and Azerbaijani militans) liberated Baku from the Bolshevik-Dashnak forces after heavy fighting. That was an important stage in the formation of an independent state – the People's Republic of Azerbaijan that enabled the government to move from Ganja to Baku. -02D-
