Ministry of Finance Demands Annual Reports from NGOPs
The Ministry of Finance has warned NGOs and political parties that they need to submit the financial reports about their activities over the past year. According to the law, the reports must be submitted by April 1.
NGOs and political parties that have not yet submitted reports should do so within 30 days. Otherwise, they will have to pay financial penalties under the Article 247-1 of the Code of Administrative Violations.
Two months ago, amendments were made to the law, which changed the amount of penalties from 500 to 15,000 manat for NGOs and political parties for violation of financial activity. --16D06--
