Musavat denies detention of its members in Germany
Baku/14.11.19/Turan: Report on the November 13 detention by local police of Ilham Hasan, member of the Musavat Party's European Coordination Center, is not true, said a representative of Musavat, Mustafa Hajibayli.
According to him, the belonging of a number of other detainees, whose names are mentioned in social networks,to the Musavat party was also not confirmed.
“Rashad Mammadov, who is called a member of Musavat, has nothing to do with the Party. Moreover, he has been engaged in anti-propaganda against the Musavat members for a long time and it was on his tip that the police conducted searches and detentions,” Hajibeyli said.
“Germany has an independent and objective law enforcement system and we are confident that the innocent will be released,” Hajibeyli said. -05B-
