Poland denies Naryshkin's statement
Baku/30.11.22/Turan: Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin said that Poland is preparing to annex the western part of Ukraine as compensation for helping the Ukrainian side. “Poland is speeding up preparations for the annexation of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and most of the Ternopil regions of Ukraine,” Naryshkin said with RIA Novosti, referring to information received by the Foreign Intelligence Service.
Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski categorically denied Naryshkin's statements, calling them provocative and false .
Naryshkin's statement came after Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited Kyiv on November 26, where he took part in a conference of leaders on the “Grain from Ukraine” initiative.
In Kyiv, Morawiecki compared Russia to Fascist Germany. He stated that Nazi Germany in 1942-43 unleashed a total war after realizing the imminence of its defeat. Today, Russia has also realized that it is losing the war, so it uses new methods.
After the last losses in the east of Ukraine, Russia resorted to such total destruction of civilian infrastructure, causing significant damage to the civilian population. –0—
