Putin satisfied with the summit of heads of Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed the importance of the trilateral summit of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia. According to RIA Novosti, Putin said that the three countries face similar problems and challenges, such as the ongoing global economic crisis. According to Putin, the event will allow countries to coordinate actions on a wide range of issues.
"Today we are opening, of course, a new page in relations, giving a start to cooperation in a trilateral format, in our view, the demand for this format is obvious. All three countries are united by a willingness to coordinate the approaches to a wide range of regional and global issues, the desire to further strengthen multifaceted practical cooperation in the trade and economic sphere," said Putin, speaking at a tripartite meeting.-06D—
