Resolution of "Musavat" about the results of the deliberations of the April fighting in Karabakh
On Tuesday "Musavat" party held a roundtable on "The April stage of Karabakh war: successes and losses." It was noted that the three-day clashes changed the situation which lasted for many years. The debate resulted on adoption of resolution of three sections: progress, loss suggestions.
In the first section it is said that the three-day war demonstrated that the people will never reconcile to the loss of territories, people self-confidence grew, the Karabakh issue was the question of uniting the Azerbaijanis all over the world. The second section refers to the losses - more than 90 soldiers,
and up to 10 civilians. Further was noted the inability of some structures to operate in extreme conditions, lack of responsiveness, diplomatic initiatives.
As for the third section - proposals, first of all it is necessary to prepare a national concept. It is necessary to declare the loss of power of the Bishkek Protocol in connection with the violation of the ceasefire.
The composition of the OSCE Minsk Group should be changed, and the public is given information about the essence of the Moscow talks on the cessation of hostilities. It is also necessary to increase the benefits to participants of the Karabakh war, invalids, families of martyrs; and to prepare an action plan for the preparation of a professional army, release of political prisoners in the name of civic solidarity, to begin large-scale reforms. -0-
