Salaries of deputies increase by more than 40%

Baku/22.06.22/Turan: Salaries of the deputies of the  Deputies of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan will  increase. The relevant draft amendments to the law "On the status of a deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan" were discussed on June 22 by relevant parliamentary committees.

According to the amendments, the salary of the chairman of the Milli Majlis will be increased from 2,475 manats to 3,550 manats, or by 43%. Accordingly, the salaries of other members of parliament will also increase. Thus, the salary of the first vice-speaker is 90% of the salary of the head of parliament.

Vice-speakers receive a salary of 85% of the salary of the head of the Milli Majlis, chairmen of parliamentary committees - 80%, deputies - 75%, deputies - 70%.

In addition, the speaker of parliament, vice-speakers, heads of committees, their deputies and deputies receive a monthly bonus in the amount of their official salary.

Along with this, all persons of this category receive another 50% of the official salary on a monthly basis for relevant expenses. It should be noted that the minimum wage in Azerbaijan is 300 manats, and the average monthly wage is 825 manats.

After a new increase, the salary of the chairman of the Milli Majlis will be 7,100 manats, and ordinary deputies - 4,970 manats. Thus, the monthly salary of the speaker of the Milli Majlis will exceed the minimum salary by 23.6 times, and deputies - by 7.2 times. -06D--

Баку/22.06.22/Turan: Депутатам Милли Меджлиса Азербайджана будут повышены зарплаты. Соответствующий проект поправок в закон «О статусе депутата Милли Меджлиса Азербайджанской Республики» был обсужден 22 июня профильными комитетами парламента.

Согласно поправкам, зарплата  председателя Милли Меджлиса будет повышена с 2475 манатов до 3550 манатов, или на 43%. 

Соответственно повысятся зарплаты и других членов парламента. Так, зарплата первого вице-спикера составляетт 90% от оклада главы парламента.

Вице-спикеры получают зарплату в размере от 85% от оклада руководителя Милли Меджлиса, председатели парламентских комитетов – 80%, из заместителей  – 75%,  депутаты – 70%.

Кроме того, спикер парламента, вице-спикеры, главы комитетов, их заместители и депутаты ежемесячно получают надбавку в размере должностного оклада.

Наряду с этим, все лица указанной категории ежемесячно на представительские расходы получают еще 50% от должностного оклада

Отметим, что минимальная заработная плата в Азербайджане составляет 300 манатов, а  среднемесячная заработная плата - 825 манатов.

После нового повышения зарплата председателя Милли Меджлиса составит 7100 манат, а рядовых депутатов - 4970 манат.

Таким образом,  месячная заработная плата спикера Милли Меджлиса  будет превышать минимальную зарплату в 23,6 раза, а депутатов  - в 7,2 раза. 06D
