Socar office in Istanbul attacked by Islamist youth
The attack on the office of the Azerbaijani oil company Socar in Istanbul on May 31 was organized by Islamist youth.
As Turan news agency has learned, these pro-Palestinian activists are preparing similar actions in front of other SOCAR facilities, demanding that Azerbaijani oil supplies to Israel be stopped.
According to local sources, dissatisfaction with the policy of official Baku is gaining ground in Turkey for not condemning "Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip."
It is noteworthy that Turkish official circles did not condemn the attack on the SOCAR office.
