Son of opposition leader is released under house arrest
Today the Narimanov district court of Baku changed the measure of restraint against Senan Dashdamirli accused of drug trafficking. He was released under house arrest.
Senan Dashdamirli is the son of Rafiq Dashdamirli, head of department of the PPFA.
R.Dashdamirli told Turan, that his son was released due to health problems and childbirth.
The lawyer Azer Nagiyev said that the investigation asked about the extension of detention until April 17.
Protection requested a change of measure of restraint, and release S.Dashdamirli from custody.
S.Dashdamirli suffers hernia, the disease had occurred during his stay in prison. Treatment in custody is impossible, and the jail authorities recognize it themselves. Ultimately, the court extended the preventive measure until April 17, replacing the arrest to house arrest.
The lawyer also pointed that no investigation is ongoing.
This young man was arrested on November 17, 2014 in front of his house, and taken to the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Interior in charge of the implementation of the drug.
Relatives of Sanan are sure that his arrest is a punishment for his father’s activity in organizing and conducting rallies of opposition. -03B04-
