Ukrainian plane was shot down by two Iranian missiles - US intelligence
Baku / 10.01.20 / Turan: The Ukrainian Boeing, which crashed in Iran, was shot down not by one Iranian missile, but by two, American television channels CNN and ABC reported, citing sources in US intelligence.
As a result of the plane crash on January 8, all 176 people on board died.
According to a CNN source, both missiles were fired from the Tor air defense system. He also added that the United States recorded how the Iranian radar took aim at the aircraft before it was shot down.
US intelligence is confident that Iran has tracked a Ukrainian plane using radar and fired two ground-to-air missiles that shot it down.
According to a senior official, an American satellite discovered a thermal trace of two rockets as they approached the plane.
Earlier, the prime ministers of Canada and the United Kingdom, citing intelligence agencies, also said that the plane was shot down by an Iranian anti-aircraft missile launched from the Tor air defense system developed in Russia. -02D-
