Elshad Abdullayev: the authorities are behind all kidnapped people
The biggest crimes in Azerbaijan, including kidnapping for ransom, are made with the awareness and involvement of the central executive power, said the former Rector of the International University, Elshad Abdullayev, in his interview with Objective TV (obyektiv.tv) via Skype.
Abdullayev called a bluff the creation by the President of the country on October 4, 2012 a group for investigation the kidnapping of his brother, Major and the professor of the Academy of the Ministry of National Security, Mahir Abdullayev.
Since the kidnapping of his brother in 2003, Abdullayev wrote over one thousand formal complaints, including 147 to the Presidential Administration. All letters had a standard reply that "an appeal filed to the case on the kidnapping ...".
Specific persons are involved in this case. One of them is the entrepreneur Arzu Kazimov, who was recently arrested for fraud. It is through him $3 million were delivered to the First Deputy Interior Minister, Zahid Dunyamaliyev. The money was transferred after Abdullayev was permitted to talk on the phone with his brother. Moreover, the money were transferred by the receipt via the notary.
All this lawlessness is led by the head of the Presidential Administration, Ramiz Mehdiyev. He wanted to take away the university from Abdullayev, demanding compensation of $10 million. When Abdullayev refused, then through the state-controlled media, it was said that Abdullayev was involved in the illegal business of human organ transplantation.
The country must live by the laws, and not by the notions, said Abdullayev. He appealed to the European Court of Human Rights, and hopes for justice and the return of his brother. --17D-
