Baku/23.08.17/Turan: Resident of the village of Vivazamin in Lerik region, Mehdi Mirzazade, was arrested on suspicion of killing members of his family, reads the joint statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office.
On August 22 at 5:20 am Mirzazade phoned 102, the police duty number, and informed that his father Elman Huseynov had burned their house and wanted to kill his mother and sister.
The law enforcement officers arrived on the spot. After the fire was extinguished on the spot, burnt bodies of the father, mother and sister of Mirzazade were found.
During the investigation, he showed that early in the morning his father hit a mother and sister with a knife and wanted to hit him, but Mirzazade managed to escape, After that, his father set fire to their house.
During the investigation it was found that on the basis of a family quarrel, Father Elman Huseynov killed his wife and daughter. Mehdi Mirzazadeh became the witness of this and several times he stabbed his father in the neck with knife.
After that, he set fire to the house, accusing his father. Mirzazade was arrested, the investigation continues, the report said. However, it is not clear from this information why the father and son have different surnames. -02D-
