As a result of the explosion at the plant "Araz" in the city of Shirvan there are no fatalities, according to the official report of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan. Eleven persons easily injured, and are being provided medical assistance, reads the message. There is not an information on the cause of the explosion. The exact cause of the explosion will be announced after the investigation, the report said. Apparently, recyclable ammunition exploded.
The head of the press service of the Ministry of Health Liya Bayramov said that currently in Shirvan hospital there are 18 victims at the enterprise "Araz". They are wounded with minor injuries, injuries of medium gravity, one person is in intensive care ward. Deputy Prosecutor and Deputy Minister of Emergencies Ministry and representatives of other departments have left for the site of explosion. According to unofficial reports, by 18:30 the explosions and fire at the factory continue.-06B-
