At the trial in the case of the murder of Rasim Aliyev

In the Baku Court of Grave Crimes on January 21 continued the Trial  in the case of the murder of the journalist Rasim Aliyev continued   in the Baku  Serious  Crimes Court on 21 January 21. Kanan Madatov, Jamal Mammadov, Samir Mustafayev, Elshan Ismayilov and Arif Aliyev   are brought in trial.  The case of Javid Huseynov,  the footballer   of the "Gabala"  team was separated.  The access to the courtroom was again limited, and many fellow journalists were not allowed into the hall. The lawyer of the injured party Namazly Fariz said that  at today’s trial testimonies  gave the defendant Samir Mustafayev, who recanted his testimony at the preliminary investigation. Mustafayev said that he came to the scene occasionally, and knows nothing about the  of beating Rasim Aliyev. Mother of the deceased journalist, Teyfura Aliyeva,  said that on the day of the incident Javid Huseynov and his cousin  Elshan Ismayilov called her son. They tricked lured Rasim Aliyev and beat him. The mother also reported that when Rasim was in the hospital, Javid Huseynov and the manager of the football club came to him. The mother  blames  the doctors also for  the death of her son, and demanded to bring them to justice. The hearing will continue on January 26.  

* Rasim Aliyev was beaten by a group of relatives and friends of the famous football player Javid Huseynov on August 8, 2015. On the same  Aliyev was  hospitalized, and  died on August 9. -03В-
