At the trial in the "Nardaran-2 case"
At the trial in the "case Nardaran-2" in the Baku Serious Crimes Court the accused gave testimonies. Defendants in the case are deputy chairman of the movement "Muslim unity" Elchin Gasimov and 11 other believers.
Elchin Gasimov was arrested in November 2015. Later, he was accused of trying to seize power, terrorism, and on similar charges have arrested another 10 people: Agha Yahyayev, Mahir Gahramanov, Seyfaddin Shirvani, Ramil Aliyev, Farhad Muradov, Elgun Akhundov, Vusal Alish, Seymour Aslanov Ali Shakhbazov, Amirali Aliyev, and Isa Ibrahimov.
At today's meeting with Muradov Farhadgave testimonies. "Four or five police officers came to our home by cars. They raided and planted a plastic bag in the closet in the bedroom, and then told that it was "found". There were a fuse for a grenade, TNT block, 6 brochures "Contacting Bagirzade Tale" in the bag. Then I was put into a car and taken to the "bandit department".
They offeredme to admit that I took the book from strangers, and found the weapons in the village of Nardaran in a landfill; and if I do not give this testimony, they will delay my brother. Therefore, I made a confession," said Muradov.
After the break the accused Isa Ibrahimov gave testimony. He said that during the events in Nardaran he was not in Azerbaijan. He was detained at the border when he was returning from a pilgrimage to Iran, and was also taken to the "bandit department."
"There Alimardanov Kerim took the whip and began to beat me on the head. He tortured me in every possible way this whip for a long time. As a result, at my age of 27 I have to walk with a cane," said the defendant.
Then he demanded to summon Garashov Tale, the head of Lankaran, who has written response that Ibrahimov allegedly prepared riots by the orders of Tale Bagirzade and theologian Zulfugar Mikailzade.
