Azerbaijan wins first gold medal of the Olympic Games
Azerbaijani wrestler, 19-year-old Togrul Askerov won on Saturday in the final match against the four-time world champion, a Russian of the Ossetian origin Besik Kudukhov and became Olympic champion among athletes in weight category 60 kg. Askerov did not give his opponent a chance. Having won the first round, 1-0, in the second part he inflicted a crushing defeat on the rival - 5-0.

In the semifinal, the Azerbaijani wrestler confidently won against American Scott Coleman 2:0 (1:0, 4:0).
