Electronization of the vaccination process against coronavirus, views on the activities of peacekeepers in Karabakh, and commentary on internal debts are topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes that the vaccination process in the country will be electronized. The author writes that a vaccination strategy has been prepared, which will be carried out in several stages. The first stage will cover people at high risk and people over 65 years of age. One of the key points of the strategy is to create faith in the vaccine among citizens, since there is no other way to end the virus.
Vaccinations will be free and voluntary. The author emphasizes that there is no final result of the study on what will be the resistance or immunity that occurs after vaccination, but, according to scientists, after vaccination you need to wait at least a year.
One of the strategic issues is the electronicization of vaccination - registration of persons who have undergone vaccination, and specialists are working on this program.
The website Yenisabah.az writes about the statement on Karabakh adopted on November 10, which, as the author notes, is not a legal but a political document. According to the author, the activities of the peacekeeping mission in Karabakh do not meet the interests of Azerbaijan. He believes that conditions should have been set for the peacekeepers in connection with the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Experts believe that it was impossible to put such conditions in front of the peacekeepers in advance, since the adopted document is a statement, not a legal document.
A political and legal treaty is needed. Experts believe that the Russian peacekeepers have exceeded their powers and have not fulfilled their obligations. Their main task is to control the five-kilometer Lachin corridor, as well as the free passage of Armenians to Karabakh and back. Experts draw attention to the fact that peacekeepers have set up a post near the village of Papravend in the Aghdam region, and the flags of Armenia and the separatist regime are waving there, which is unacceptable.
The website Azpolitika.info presents the commentary of the expert Rovshan Agayev regarding the expected scale of the budget deficit in the coming years. This complicates the government's macroeconomic regulation work.
External debt in the amount of 2 billion manats is too large. The main source of financing is the banking sector, that is, banks are more interested in risk-free government securities than in loans, the expert said.
According to him, economic activity is currently at a low level and the money supply is limited.
Earlier, the head of the National Bank Elman Rustamov noted that the deficit of the state budget of Azerbaijan will grow next year and will increase every year.
The website Redaktor.az quotes the opinion of the doctor Galib Asadov regarding the decrease in the number of people infected with coronavirus. In his opinion, this is due to a decrease in the number of daily tests, since some citizens refuse to take the test. So, in the previous days there were 18-19 thousand tests. However, then they were carried out by 4-5 thousand less. Therefore, the number of people infected has decreased. Therefore, it is wrong to link the decrease in the number of infected people with strict quarantine.
