Baku / 05.07.18 / Turan: A forest fire has started in the mountainous area near the village of Shikhlar in the Yardimli region in the south of Azerbaijan. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, fire fighting personnel, amphibious aircraft "BE 200 ÇS" and fire helicopter "Mi-17" of the squadron of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the local population were involved in fighting the fire. The Ministry of Ecology reported that the fire covered an area of 1 hectare. According to the department, dry grass and small shrubs are mentioned. Currently, the fire has been localized. The Ministry of Ecology called upon the population having a rest in the forests, be responsible, take care of the fire, observe fire safety standards, especially in hot and dry weather.-03D-
