Gatiba Alekperova who returned from Armenia was sent for treatment to a psychiatric hospital in Gazakh region for treatment, reads the official report of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of Azerbaijan. A resident of the village of Arabaji in the Gadabay region, Gatiba Alekperova was in Armenia on 7 June. The Azerbaijani citizen Gatiba Alekperova that appeared in the territory of Armenia on June 7 was returned to her homeland on June 10.
The information on her repatriation was released by the Azerbaijani representation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The transfer with the assistance of the ICRC took place on the border between the two countries, on the Gazakh-Ijevan highway.
Before the repatriation Alekperova was visited by representatives of the ICRC, who were interested in the conditions of her detention and treatment with her.
In connection with the Karabakh conflict, the ICRC has worked in the region since 1992. -06D--
