Guy Who Threatened PFPA Deputy Chairman Allegedly «Dialed Wrong Number»
In the Surakhani district police the Deputy Chairman of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) Gezal Bayramli was told they had learned the identity of the person who threatened her over the phone. The man said he had called another person and simply “dialed a wrong number.” Bayramli told Turan about this version of the police.
However, she believes the story was invented with the aim to protect those responsible.
Bayramli said that in addition to the telephone threats she had received threats on her Facebook page. In addition, the Facebook profile under the name Abu Zerz Ahi (Azerbaijani Salafi) also appeared with the status of threats at https://www.facebook.com/abu.zerzahi.1?fref=ts&__mref=message_bubble.
"The link between these threats is obvious and there is no doubt that all of this is controlled from a single center and is organized by the same people," said Bayramli.
However, police cannot yet find those who threatened the woman through Facebook and promise to continue the investigation. -06B-
