On June 14th the leader of the REAL Movement Ilgar Mamedov turns 46 years old. On his birthday, which the opposition politicians stay in jail, "Voice of America" published an interview with his wife Vafa Mamedova. This is the fourth birthday which Ilgar meets in prison. "I do not want to congratulate through press Ilgar: I want him to be at home with his family, so we can congratulate him as before," said V.Mamedova.
Mammadov said that international organization congratulates Ilgar on the occasion of birthday, and she thanks them. In addition, the event was held in the office of «REAL», and was received calls from European countries to demand his release, the posters were distributed.
Asking the question on concerns of the family in the absence of I.Mamedov, his wife emphasized that every time the day before the birth of his daughter Aysel, Ilgar Mammadov is either put into a punishment cell, or prohibit telephone calls. It certainly has a great impact on father and the child.

"What can be said? The decisions of the European Court, the Committee of Ministers must be met. There is nothing to add. As for the public, I encourage everyone to be active and follow the example of such people like Ilgar. I call on the international organizations to be even tougher and more determined to demand the release of political prisoners. Recently, a number of political prisoners were released.
