He also notes that Russia demonstrates its neutral position regarding the Southern Gas Corridor project, of which TANAP is a part.

Ilgar Mammadov emphasizes that the South Gas Corridor is not a project directed against Russia.

"SGC is not an anti-Russian project, but they are trying to sell it to Europe and the United States under this brand. In return, the Azerbaijani government is trying to get a license from James Bond to completely defeat the opposition, faithful to republican values.
