In Georgia detained 178 kilo of heroin from Azerbaijan
The Georgian officials revealed 178 kilo of heroin in a truck coming from Azerbaijan. According to the Customs Authority of Georgia, the drugs were hidden in a specially equipped place in a truck. The drugs were packed in 356 bricks. The cargo was going from Iran to the Netherlands through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine. It is not reported who owns the truck, and who was the driverd. The Interior Ministry has begun an investigation, nothing is reported about the detainees.
Transportation of large amounts of drugs on the specified route has long been common. The most notorious case was recorded two years ago, when almost a ton of heroin was detained by Georgian customs officers in the truck arrived from Azerbaijan. -02D-
