Materials on embezzlement in "Agroleasing" sent to court
The Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General's Office, completed investigation against officials of Sheki branch "Agricultural services" (owned by JSC "Agroleasing"), and referred the case to the Court of Sheki. According to the press service of the Prosecutor General, the head of the branch "Agroservice" Javanshir Gurbanov in 2005-2006 conspired with other officials, and misappropriated 987,000 manat from the sale of fertilizer. Using his official position, and with the help of false documents, he harmed "Agricultural services" 360,000 manat. A lawsuit was filed against him under the Articles 178.2.2; 178.2.3; 178.2.4; 179.3.2; 308.2 and 313 of the Criminal Code. Another person involved in the case, Rafim Gurbanov, who the head of the same branch in 2007-2014, also conspired with other persons, and misappropriated 5 million 363,000 manat from the sale of fertilizers and agricultural machinery. Using personal gain rank, he inflicted "Agricultural services" damage of 2 million 84,000 manat. A lawsuit was filed against him under the Articles 179.3.2; 308.2; 313; and 326.1.
