The promotion of Azerbaijan abroad by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the refusal of issue loans for students, the expansion of construction in the capital and the regions are the topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes how the Heydar Aliyev Foundation promotes Azerbaijan abroad. In particular, the author talks about an exhibition in Germany dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Academy of Sciences.
The author gives a detailed presentation at the exhibition of the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany, Ramin Hasanov, who also spoke about the 200-year history of relations between the two countries and the opening of the Goethe Institute in Baku.
The website Modern.az commented on the statement by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov about refusing to issue loans to Azerbaijani students, since there are no guarantees of their return. He said this during the discussion of the state budget for 2019.
It was ambiguously perceived by the community and students. Experts in the field of education believe that in 90% of the member countries of the Bologna Declaration students are given loans at a very high rate of 1-3%. That is, in these countries they trust students, unlike Azerbaijan.
The Azadlig Radio website writes about the growth of state subsidies for construction and industry in 2019. These expenses are planned in the budget at the level of 6,844.7 million manat.
This means that next year the construction will be expanded, both in the regions and in the capital in the absence of the general plan of Baku.
The author recalls that the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture allocated 4 million manat for the preparation of the general plan of the capital, but after 6 months the general plan is still not ready.
