New methods of pressure on the opposition in Nakhchivan
An attack was made on the farm of Zeynalabdin Bagirzade in the village of Nehram led by the head of the local municipality, Tofig Abutalybov. Using machinery, the assailants plowed Bagirzade’s field, destroying all the melons and fruit trees.
This happened after a meeting of regional structure of the opposition "Public Chamber", one of the leaders of which is Bagirzade, and which took place in Nakhchivan.
It is interesting that among the "vermins" was Isa Mamedov, the MP Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), the head of Babek regional branch of the party "Yeni Azerbaijan", head of the Veterinary Administration of Babek region, Jalal Hasanov, and several heads of the departments of regional executive power.
According to the Bagirzade, head of the municipality insulted him, and tried to provoke a response.
"You are traitors, we have driven many of you, and we will drive you too. You have been on probation, and we will return you to jail," shouted Tofig Abutalibov. Bagirzade has all documents for the farm, which has suffered huge losses. Previously, due to the termination of the water supply, hectares of crops of grain were destroyed, and 2000 apple trees were dried.
The farmer is convinced that he is subjected to pressure because of the political activity of his brother, the head of the regional branch of PFPA, Yashar Bagirsoy.
Bagirzade was arrested late last year on charges of fraud, and in particular the forgery of the liquidator of Chernobyl Atomic Power Station, and subsequently was sentenced to 7.5 years of imprisonment on probation.—0--
