Baku/06.05.15/ Tuarn: On May 6 the office of the radio "Azadlig" was closed completely due to the termination of tenancy. Investigator Sanan Pashayev opened the door, and let employees to take away their equipment and other things after the arrest on December 26, 2014. For ten years the radio office was located in the business center Caspian Plaza. After the search and seizure of office equipment, the prosecutor's office did not return the seized items, computers and documents.
After that, the investigation claimed that in the activities of the "Azadlig" were financial irregularities and the criminal case connected with this.
According to observers and the radio, the persecution of the media is primarily due to the revelatory investigations of corruption of the ruling family, conducted by the radio columnist Khadija Ismayilova. -03D-
