Economic development in Azerbaijan, the danger of ISIS and the situation with the lease of apartments are the main topics of today's press.
The official newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the economic development of the country in times of crisis, calling it a model of Ilham Aliyev. Despite the crisis in the world, development takes place in Azerbaijan’s economy. This idea is a red line voiced in the speeches of the officials at the last meeting of the Cabinet.

Azadlig has published an article by Arif Aliyev, "Where does Motherland end?" The author argues that the differences of opinion lead to a polarity in the society that is transferred to interpersonal relationships.
"If there is a split between us, it turns out that the split is also in the Motherland? Abnormal relationships within the country are transferred to the relations between Azerbaijanis abroad.

The expert Ilham Ismail believes warnings about terrorist attacks not coincidental, recalling the natives of Azerbaijan in the ISIS environment. However, the special services of Azerbaijan can keep the situation under control, he said.

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
