Reason for Landslide on Badamdar - Lack of Sewer System
Baku / 10.15.18 / Turan: There were no major changes in the landslide zone in the Badamdar settlement over the weekend, Aziz Garalov, head of the Geological Planning Expedition of the Ministry of Environment, said commenting on the situation between the 20th Section area and Badamdar.
Experts monitor the dynamics on the spot. In the past 24 hours, land collapses occurred in this zone, which blocked part of the road between the 20th Section and Badamdar.
According to the geologist, the reason for the activation of the landslide is the lack of sewage system of houses built in this area. Wastewater flows into the soil. As a result of the saturation of the layers with water, they come into motion, losing stability.
It should be noted that thousands of private houses have been built in this zone. Many of them are built on unstable slopes.
As for a possible relocation, then, as the geologist noted, this issue is within the purview of the government. -05D06-

Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
